Welcome to Bukuya, a subcounty in Kasanda District being home to Josen Estates and Farms Ltd. Bukuya lies at an altitude of 1,200 to 1,300 meters above sea level. Historically the area is associated with artisanal gold mining which has led to years of environmental degradation and pollution.

Our products, Bukuya Gold Coffee and Bukuya Gold Macadamia are a result of a new form of traceable and sustainable agriculture deliberately aimed at rehabilitating and conserving biodiversity. We minimize the use of chemicals on our farm and will be organic certified within the next 5years.

By that time we will also have expanded our forest, coffee and macadamia plantations to 400 acres each whilst conserving all indigenous trees.
